Hike at Mount Hibok-Hibok, Snorkel at White Island | DIY Sea to Summit Adventure in Camiguin Island

  2. Lunch at Mcdo Jagna - 256 PHP

  3. Boat from Bohol to Camiguin - 766 PHP

  4. Toktok from Camiguin Port to Accommodation - 84 (500/6) PHP

  5. Overnight at Tabada's Homestay - 334 (2000/6) PHP [Book Here]

  6. Dinner at Rico's Restaurant - 200 PHP


Day 1:

  1. Breakfast at Tabada's Home Stay - 150 PHP

  2. Camping needs (Butane, Coffee, Bread, etc.) - 57 (340/6) PHP

  3. Camping needs (Groceries) - 68 (410/6) PHP

  4. Guide Fee (3k/4pax) - 1000 (6000/6) PHP

  5. Tourism Fee - 500 PHP

  6. Packed Lunch - 200 PHP

  7. 10 am: Start of Hike

  8. 3:00 pm: Reached Crater Lake, Setup Camp

  9. 5:00 pm: Prepare Dinner

Day 2:

  1. 3:30 am: Wakeup Call, Coffee, Preparation

  2. 4:00 am: Start Trek to Summit

  3. 5:30 am: Reached Summit

  4. 7:00 am: Descend back to Camp

  5. 8:00 am: Breakfast, Break Camp

  6. 9:00 am: Start Descent

  7. 12:00 nn: Back to Tabada's Homestay - 334 (2000/6) PHP

  8. Lunch at local restaurant - 200 PHP

  9. White Island Tourism Fee - 75 PHP

  10. Boat Fee - 50 PHP (200/4)

  11. Dinner at some restaurant at Checkpoint - 200 PHP


Day 3:

  1. Breakfast at Tabada's Homestay - 150 PHP

  2. TokTok to Camiguin Port - 50 PHP

  3. Boat from Camiguin to Jagna, Bohol - 766 PHP

  4. Lunch at Mcdo in Jagna - 250 PHP


Total: 5,740 PHP



General Tips:

  1. Prepare for Unpredictable Weather: The weather on mountains like Mount Hibok-Hibok can change rapidly. Pack layers of clothing to adapt to varying conditions, and always carry rain gear to stay dry during sudden downpours.

  2. Train for the Hike: The trail involves a continuous ascent from the jump-off point to the crater lake, which can be physically demanding. Prior physical training, including cardio and strength exercises, is highly recommended to build endurance.

  3. Check Campsite Conditions: The campsite near the crater lake is prone to flooding during heavy rains. Coordinate with your guide beforehand to set expectations and ensure a safe camping experience.

  4. Be Ready for Wildlife Encounters: Friendly leeches and rats might make an appearance during your hike. Wear protective clothing, use insect repellent, and keep your food securely stored to minimize encounters.

  5. Summit Challenges: The final stretch to the summit is particularly challenging, involving ropes and navigating boulders. Ensure you have proper gear and follow your guide’s instructions for a safe climb.
