Hi! My name is Mier, a computer engineer and digital nomad. In addition to typical travel, I’m actively conquering various summits in the Philippines. I’m also documenting my adventures for fellow mountaineers who enjoy hiking solo or as part of a group. If you have questions, feel free to message me on Facebook or Instagram.

General Tips:
When traveling to Bohol by airplane, there is a public transport service from Panglao International Airport that goes directly to the Dao Bus Terminal in Tagbilaran City. The fare, as of this writing, is 80 PHP.
When traveling to Bohol by boat to Tagbilaran City, the easiest way is to take a tricycle waiting at the port’s passenger bay, which will take you to the Dao Bus Terminal. The fare is 40 PHP, but you may need to wait for 2-3 more passengers before the tricycle departs. There may also be some detours, depending on where other passengers need to go.
From the Dao Bus Terminal, you can take a Ceres bus to the Alicia Public Market, which takes around 4-5 hours, or you can opt for a van, which is considerably faster. However, the waiting time at the terminal for the van might be longer (approximately 30 minutes), but the travel time will be much quicker.
For those using private or DIY transport, it can be difficult to locate the exact pin for TAPP's registration booth. To help, here’s the pinned location you can follow: https://maps.app.goo.gl/vxiPHaCPH24CtVaGA
Highlights:
TAPP, or The Alicia Panoramic Park, is one of the underrated beauties of Bohol. That’s right! While Bohol is often dominated by well-known destinations like Virgin Island, Panglao, Chocolate Hills, the Man-made Forest, Loboc River, and more, there’s so much more to this island. Don’t get me wrong—these popular spots are undeniably beautiful, and I’m not disputing that. But if you take a step back and look at Bohol from a different perspective, you’ll see that it has so much more to offer.
Although TAPP is gaining popularity on social media, the number of visitors is still relatively low compared to the island’s major attractions. This could be due to its accessibility, which is a bit farther from the city, or maybe because of the hike required to reach the site, which can be a challenge for some, especially compared to the more leisurely activity of walking on the beach. Whatever the reason, I believe this place deserves a lot more attention and a big shoutout!
